| beginning poker players.
Although the book may be more targeted to the beginner and intermediary
levels I do believe that even more advanced players could gain
some insights from this book.
Aside from some really great illustrations
the best part of the book is the 150 real game situations
and how they are presented. These 150 different real game
situations are analyzed with explanations on why a hand is
a good or a bad hand to play with some careful thought applied
to where you, the reader, would be seated at a poker table.
Written in an easy to follow format I believe
that every new player would benefit greatly by making a study
of this book. Even though I would hardly be considered a beginning
poker player I know that my game has improved considerably
after reading this book. The one thing in my game that was
probably most affected was how to read each hand in relation
to my position at the table.
If you are new to the world of poker
and wanted to make a quick study of the game before you actually
begin joining poker games online or at home with your friends,
definitely get this book.
